Soon, WATCH DOCS. Human Rights in Film International Film Festival will
kick off for the 15th time. As usual, we are looking for volunteers who
will help us organize this event, which this year will be held between
December 4 -10.
The 6th American Film Festival will be held in Wrocław between October 20-25. Apart from feature films, the line-up of this year’s edition will encompass a selection of the most interesting American documentaries of the season, which will be presented in two sections: American Docs and Special Docs. Four documentaries from the AFF program will be also featured in the line-up of the 15th WATCH DOCS. Human Rights in Film International Film Festival, to be held in Warsaw between December 4-10.
In a response to the rising tide of xenophobic and racist attitudes, permeating the public discourse in recent months, the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights and the Social Institute of Film, the organizers of the WATCH DOCS IFF, invite you to a series of screenings of the most acclaimed Hungarian documentary of recent years, “Judgment in Hungary,” followed by debates and discussions.
FUTURE DOCS is a new European project of the WATCH DOCS IFF for documentarians and human rights defenders.

Karolina Bielawska wins the International Documentary Competition at the 55th Krakow Film Festival.
The 55th edition of Poland's oldest documentary festival, kicks off on May 31. This year, it is already for the tenth time that we are announcing WATCH DOCS nominations for the most intriguing human rights documentaries included in the Krakow Film Festival program, thereby selecting them to the competition of the WATCH DOCS. WATCH DOCS IFF in cooperation with the People in Need, Polish Institute,
and Goethe Institute would like to invite you to the screening of
Hanna Polak’s documentary "Something Better to Come."
On the second Sunday of March (10.05), KINO.LAB, located in the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle, will host a screening of Talal Derki’s award-winning documentary „Return to Homs,” which received, among others, special mention at the 14th WATCH DOCS IFF.
