Festival Programmers recommendations

We are presenting recommendations of selected films of the 15th IFF WATCH DOCS. The films are recommended by Maciej Nowicki, a Festival Director.

Masterclass by Jim Finn

The masterclass with experimental filmmaker Jim Finn, an event accompanying the 15th WATCH DOCS. Human Rights in Film IFF, will be held on Saturday, December 5 at 5:30 pm.

The Jury of the 15th WATCH DOCS IFF

The 15th WATCH DOCS IFF will kick off in less than 3 weeks. We already know all the members of the jury, who will select the winner of this year’s WATCH DOCS Award from among 15 competition films. Apart from human rights defenders, the members of the jury will also include documentary and feature film directors.

Become a volunteer at the 14th WATCH DOCS IFF

Soon, WATCH DOCS. Human Rights in Film International Film Festival will kick off for the 15th time. As usual, we are looking for volunteers who will help us organize this event, which this year will be held between December 4 -10.

American Film Festival documentaries at the 15th WATCH DOCS

The 6th American Film Festival will be held in Wrocław between October 20-25. Apart from feature films, the line-up of this year’s edition will encompass a selection of the most interesting American documentaries of the season, which will be presented in two sections: American Docs and Special Docs. Four documentaries from the AFF program will be also featured in the line-up of the 15th WATCH DOCS. Human Rights in Film International Film Festival, to be held in Warsaw between December 4-10.

Special screenings of "Judgment in Hungary" across Poland

In a response to the rising tide of xenophobic and racist attitudes, permeating the public discourse in recent months, the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights and the Social Institute of Film, the organizers of the WATCH DOCS IFF, invite you to a series of screenings of the most acclaimed Hungarian documentary of recent years, “Judgment in Hungary,” followed by debates and discussions.
