Do you know someone who exceptionally supports human rights activists? Nominate them for the Henryk Wujec Civic Award.

The Henryk Wujec Civic Award is an award given by non-governmental organizations to individuals who have provided exceptional support to activists and organizations working for human rights. The winners of previous editions of the Henryk Wujec Civic Award include Dr. Hanna Machinska (2022), Ewa Kulik-Bielińska (2023), and Radosław Baszuk (2024). The call for applications for the next edition will last until October 21, 2025. Applications can be submitted online at: funduszobywatelski.pl/nagrodaobywatelska

The award is jointly given by human rights and civil society organizations in Poland. The chapter of the Henryk Wujec Civic Award is made up of: the Ludwika and Henryk Wujec Civic Fund, the organizer of the Award, the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, the organizer of the WATCH DOCS Festival, the National Federation of Polish NGOs, the "Our Ombudsman" Initiative, and Amnesty International Poland.

The winner of the third edition of the Award will be announced on December 13, 2025, during the Closing Gala of the 25th WATCH DOCS.
